2 – Provide Something Wonderful for Someone to Find
What we’re doing here, providing something wonderful for someone to find, is akin to manifestation, as educator David Spangler describes it. It’s about creating a synchronistic, co-creative relationship between one’s inner creative energies and the larger world to bring forth a new, desirable situation.
For this to work best, it’s valuable to believe in our interconnectedness, where what happens in one part of the whole affects the rest. Pay attention to your emotions as you engage with this theme. The more thought and effort you put into it, the more significant the feeling and impact.
Choose an activity you genuinely love, such as art, and create something based on your passion. One class participant, an art teacher, crafted a colorful envelope filled with her favorite things and left it outside a public library with a note offering it as a gift to anyone fortunate enough to discover it.
Another example is a mother who, inspired by Boo Radley in “To Kill a Mockingbird,” left gifts in the exposed roots of a tree for her children to find.
Remember, the word “wonderful” is intentionally open to your interpretation. This theme should be enjoyable and meaningful to you.
