Befriend Life

“Befriending life may be about strengthening and supporting life’s movement toward its own wholeness.”
Reading: Read the first half of Section V up to “Integrity.” Personify each chapter as a human friend sharing a story. Identify the chapter-friend you connect with most and want to revisit. Consider how you’d like to respond to them.
Kind Action: To grasp the idea of befriending life, step out of your comfort zone concerning someone you’re drawn to but have resisted due to fear. Consider this step as an act of kindness to yourself primarily. Observe if this self-kindness has a positive impact on others.
Blessings Journal: Observe instances where you or someone takes a risk to perform a kind act. According to Rachel, this process involves repeatedly letting go. Recognizing these acts can make the letting-go process smoother and more natural with time.
