2 – Do Something Kind For a Good Friend
“Friendship doubles our joy and divides our grief.” — Swedish Proverb
For this theme, choose someone close to you whom you see regularly. This person doesn’t have to be a family member but could be.
It should be someone you know well, have a history with, and have experienced both good and challenging times with. This person is what we mean by a “good friend.”
Start by dedicating a few minutes to mindfully think about your friend. Let your thoughts flow naturally, and if they wander, gently bring them back to your friend. While contemplating, allow an idea for a simple and mindful kind action to surface.
It doesn’t need to be grand, just heartfelt.
