Reading: Read chapters 6 – 10. Stop and consider any passage that speaks to you. Listen. Choose one chapter that you find most meaningful and read it again after having finished all the reading for this week.
Kind Action: Continue to note instances (at least two this week — LOOK for them!) where you see someone doing something kind for another, presumably a stranger. Write them down with as much detail as you can. In addition, perform at least one act of kindness for someone you do not know, however small you may think your kindness is.
Reflection Exercise: Consider why McIntyre chose not to accept any money on this trip. If it makes a difference, factor in why he accepted the Canadian dollar from Edie (p 57).
