“Keeping the Light”
So this week I’ve asked you to consider the word “light.” For inspiration, I offer you the opportunity to learn about a man named Aaron Collins and his family.
Aaron died last summer and in tribute to his life his family acted on an item in Aaron’s will, that they give a pizza server a $500 tip. They fulfilled this wish and in the process created a video of the surprised server receiving the tip. The video went viral and donations started flowing in, over $50,000 so far.
So now Aaron’s family continues to honor him by traveling around the country to give surprised servers $500 tips, one per week (they just gave #49).
Follow along at the website at which they post videos of their actions and see if you don’t feel a bit lighter.
People can be so good.

Love this! It reminds me of my husband commenting that he’s going to buy a glass of lemonade from a kid’s stand for $20. Seeing the reactions of the servers to the $500 tip is wonderful!
