Each day in 2020, I’m adapting that day’s entry from the book “365 Tao: Daily Meditations” into a haiku. I’m doing this, though, following the structure of “Blackout Poetry.” I darken the words I’m not using and highlight those I am, thus allowing my haiku to emerge from the page. At the end of each seven day period, I post the previous seven as a string of haikus.
February 26 – March 03:
Following the way.
Devotion you discover.
Secret sustenance.
A situation.
Discern determined reflex.
Part of its movement.
The power within.
Shimmering gifts of wisdom.
Your source of great joy.
Spiritual source.
Essence of essence to love.
Seasons in balance.
Poignancy witness.
Watch, bearing we are aware.
Adjust our context.
Our filtered knowledge
is provisional input.
Process nothingness.
Nature is expressed.
We touch the words of poets.
Neutralize the mind.

Enjoyment, thanks, love!
(I think that’s a Haiku!)
And a wonderful haiku at that! Thanks for commenting!
